Extension privacy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Access QuickiePlay rooms, manage saved invitations and resume mini games from Chrome.
Extension stores launch preference and up to five explicitly saved room invitations, labels and timestamps in this Chrome profile using local storage. Invitations may grant access to rooms. Keep them private. Invitations never use Chrome sync. Remove individual shortcuts, clear all saved invitations in extension Settings, or uninstall extension to remove local data.
Removing shortcuts does not leave rooms, delete your account or erase game progress. Website account sessions, guest identity, room membership, game progress, profiles, achievements and purchases remain owned by QuickiePlay and its existing server and website storage.
Packaged extension code does not read or copy authentication cookies, access tokens or refresh tokens. It does not create an extension account. The separate hosted QuickiePlay view restores your existing website session and uses website credentials only within the website to authorise room services. Credentials never cross the extension bridge. If restoration is unavailable, continue in browser. Friends can play invitation links in their normal browser without installing extension.
The companion handles only QuickiePlay destinations and website content needed for its purpose. Packaged code checks currently open QuickiePlay URLs and stores explicitly saved invitation URLs and labels. It does not read Chrome history or unrelated tabs. It does not access contacts, precise location, files or recordings.
The hosted view uses existing website services for player identifiers, display names, avatars, session authentication, room names, invitations, membership, room actions and status. Existing room reminder controls can send a canned Nudge to another player through the website. Existing servers process network IP addresses for service security. No location permission or GPS access is requested.
No new analytics SDK, advertising system or AI training collection is added. Shared website interactions may use existing analytics when website consent permits. Existing website privacy and consent behavior applies to hosted content and normal website gameplay under QuickiePlay privacy policy. Gameplay, account sign in and checkout use the normal website.
Only QuickiePlay site access is requested. Extension checks matching QuickiePlay destinations to focus an existing room or game. It never navigates unrelated tabs. Panel uses website room data while open. There is no background polling, extension notification service, persistent toolbar count or clipboard reading. Invitation copying requires your explicit action.
Upgrading from old popup version removes its extension connection credentials and private status cache, clears its background alarms, and preserves at most five valid explicitly saved room bookmarks. Old server connection records expire through existing lifecycle. This version never uses them. Website login and saved progress stay intact.
Questions or account data requests: use Feedback and Support in QuickiePlay settings.
